Account Setup

Getting started with Keplur is quick and easy. Follow these steps to create your account and begin tracking your renewals.

Creating Your Account

Step 1: Sign Up

  1. Visit keplur.io (opens in a new tab)
  2. Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner
  3. Choose your preferred sign-up method:
    • Email and Password: Enter your email address and create a secure password
    • Google OAuth: Sign up using your Google account for faster access

Step 2: Verify Your Email

After signing up with email and password:

  1. Check your email inbox for a verification message from Keplur
  2. Click the verification link in the email
  3. You'll be redirected to the confirmation page

Note: If you don't see the verification email, check your spam folder or click "Resend verification email" on the login page.

Step 3: Complete Your Profile

Once your email is verified:

  1. You'll be redirected to the onboarding flow
  2. The system will guide you through:
    • Feature introduction
    • Adding your first renewal
    • Dashboard tour (optional)

Account Security

Password Requirements

Your password must meet these requirements:

  • At least 8 characters long
  • Include at least one uppercase letter
  • Include at least one lowercase letter
  • Include at least one number
  • Include at least one special character

Two-Factor Authentication

For enhanced security, we recommend enabling two-factor authentication:

  1. Go to your Profile Settings
  2. Navigate to the Security section
  3. Click "Enable 2FA"
  4. Follow the setup instructions with your authenticator app

Next Steps

Once your account is set up:

  1. Add your first renewal
  2. Configure notification preferences
  3. Explore the dashboard

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Email verification not received

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Ensure you entered the correct email address
  • Click "Resend verification email" if needed

Password reset not working

  • Check that you're using the correct email address
  • Look for the reset email in your spam folder
  • Contact support if the issue persists

OAuth sign-up issues

  • Ensure you're using a supported browser
  • Check that third-party cookies are enabled
  • Try signing up with email and password instead
